Vintage Heavy 18ct Lapis & Diamond Ring
A truly captivating ring from the middle of the 20th Century. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has a lovely heavy feel to it. At the centre is a stunning sugarloaf lapis lazuli. The lapis is a rich royal blue colour and sits high and proud in its mount. To the shoulders of the thick shank, three round brilliant cut diamonds have been set on either side in a decorative pointed engraving. The effect is very striking and this is a wonderful statement ring.
There is some engraving on the inside of the shank, though it is not clear whether this is a maker/designer or whether someone has done this themselves.

Size - The lapis measures approx 9mm square and sits 10mm high from the finger (including the gold mount). The diamonds are around 2mm each
