Vintage Italian 'August' Charm

A pretty charm from the early 20th Century. The charm is Italian in origin and has ‘Agosto’ for the month of August with the word ‘Firmeza’ meaning firm. These charms often have words that relate to characteristics and the firm relates to the trait of being steadfast and reliable. It also has the zodiac symbol for Virgo to one side and a little enamel flower to the other. The charm is made from solid 18ct gold and the enamel is in excellent antique condition overall. At the centre is a little pink tourmaline set in a pinched collet setting.
