Vintage Lapis Lazuli Bead Necklace
A lovely bead necklace from the late 20th Century, dated Sheffield 1985. The necklace is a string of natural lapis lazuli beads that are regular in size. Many of the beads exhibit the lovely gold speckles that, in my opinion, enhance the appearance of the lapis. The necklace is complete with a solid 9ct gold clasp, which is fully hallmarked to the reverse. It is decorative to the front with a pierced design and has a hook and tongue closure, making it very secure when worn. A beautiful necklace to wear alone or add to a neck stack to add a hint of colour.
