A stunning pendant from the mid to late 20th Century. The pendant has been made in the shape of a bell and the frame is solid 18ct gold, marked on the top of the ‘cage’. The gold-work is fairly decorative and houses a wonderful purple chalcedony gemstone, which has been expertly carved into the shape of the bell. The chalcedony is a beautiful, soft lilac colour and exhibits pretty translucency. Around the edge of the gold, pink and green tourmalines have been set, alternating between the two colours. The bell design is complete with a little gold ringer hanging from the bottom.
The pendant is such a lovely large size and makes a real statement on a chain. The chain pictured is for display only.
