A wonderful locket from the mid to late 20th Century, dated London 1969. The locket is made from solid 9ct gold and is a beautiful heart shape. It is a good size and has the pretty feature of a padlocked ‘gate’ to the front panel. The gate is in relief giving the whole piece a slightly 3D effect and the hinges of the door are the hinges of the gate. Inside, there is a compartment that could hold your photo or momento. The ‘gate’ closes with a good click and is secure. Such a lovely novelty locket.
