A pretty book locket from the first half of the 20th Century, c1940s. The locket is made from sterling silver, marked 'STERLING’ to one end of the book, and has a makers mark of JMF Co, likely JM Fisher, a prolific jewellery manufacturer established in Massachusetts in 1879. It has pretty flowers to the front, possibly forget-me-nots, and is plain to the back with a definite book spine to one side. The book opens on a hinge and has a ‘page’ in the centre as well as frames in place to front and back. The locket could hold up to 4 photos and is a family locket.

Condition - Very good. Minimal wear commensurate with age. A little patina to the silver, please see the pictures.
