An excellent, functional loupe pendant from the end of the 20th Century. This loupe is made from solid silver, marked with 925 on the back of the bail. It is identical to a gold version that I have; please see the separate listing. The gold loupe is dated with import marks for London 1978 and this is likely to have been made at a similar time as it is the same maker and design. The loupe twists out on a pivot at the base of the bail. It magnifies, though it is not as strong as a traditional jewellers loupe.
The chain pictured is for display only.
Details:
Materials - Silver (marked), Glass
Age - Circa London 1978
Size - The loupe measures approx 18mm wide by 32mm long including the bail.
Condition - Excellent
Weight - 6.7g
