Vintage Slimline Tubogas bracelet

A gorgeous bracelet from the mid to late 20th Century with an oak leaf hallmark from the Netherlands for 14kt gold. The bracelet is a classic tubogas style, which literally translates to ‘gas pipe’. These were particularly popular in the mid 20th Century and their popularity continues today. They have a natural springy form due to their construction and curve around the wrist perfectly. The particular example has a good tongue clasp and an extra catch for ideal security.

Materials - 14kt Gold (marked 585)

Age - Mid to late 20th Century

Size - The bracelet measures approx 7mm all the way around. It has an inside diameter of 2.4” and would fit a small to medium wrist well. It is pictured on a 6” wrist and feels comfortable with a little extra room for a slightly larger wrist.

Condition - Very good. There is a slight kink to the bracelet, though it does not feel at all detrimental to the wear of it. Please see the picture from the side view.
