Vintage Teardrop Turquoise Earrings
A wonderful pair of earrings from the late 20th Century. The earrings have full British hallmarks dating them to what I believe to be London 1973; the hallmarks are very small, though this date would be in keeping with the style. They have 9ct gold frames with little angled claws that hold a stunning polished turquoise in place. The turquoise are like teardrops and are a beautiful, vibrant colour with a soft green to them. There are some minor matrix inclusions in the stones giving this beautiful gemstone plenty of charm. The earrings are complete with hooks that close to the back making them very secure in the ear.
