Vintage Tennis Racket Bracelet

£0.00
sold out

A wonderful and quirky bracelet from the late 20th Century, dated London 1980. The bracelet is made from solid 9ct gold and is a fairly weighty piece. It is a simple solid gold bangle with a difference. To the top is a tennis racket that hinges at the bottom of the handle to create an opening for your wrist. The bracelet has natural tension and the tennis ball on the other side of the opening slides through the head of the racket and the bracelet moves back to secure the fastening in place. Ingenious! A truly wonderful piece with plenty of talking points; solid enough to wear everyday.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (full hallmarks)

Age - Dated London 1980, though the date letter is hard to read, I am fairly certain it is this.

Size - The tennis racket measures approx 5cm long and is around 17.5mm wide. The tennis ball is 6.5mm in diameter. The bracelet is approx 6.6cm across the widest point and would fit most wrists.

Condition - Excellent

Weight - 20.67g
