Vintage Turquoise Nugget Ring
A pretty and unusual ring from the mid to late 20th Century, c1960s. The ring is made from 9ct gold, marked on the inside of the shank, and could possibly be a marriage top to shank, though it is impossible to know this for sure. It has a simple gold collet that has been topped by a lovely nugget of natural turquoise. This has a drill hole through it and likely started life as part of a necklace or bracelet. There are four claws to hold the nugget in position and it is secure in place.
